A reshuffle of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday saw no major change in the key ministries of finance, home, defence and foreign affairs, a government statement showed on Wednesday. It was more of a rejig.
Oil Minister Murli Deora was replaced as also Roads Minister Kamal Nath, who was seen as moving slow on boosting India’s creaky infrastructure. Other ‘non-performers’ were not shown the door but were rather shifted to less important portfolios.
